This free in house training is ideal for anyone who is already working with young people or who would like to.

What you will learn on the course

1. Define what a drug is, looking at Stimulant, depressant and Hallucinogen categories.
2. Understand why people take drugs, possible signs and symptoms and the impact that can have on the individual and the wider society.
3. Look at individual drugs in depth including appearance, effects, legal category and known risks.
4. To address the various impacts of different use and how stereotyping can prevent effective responses.
