We are organising a fundraising event to promote the launch of the documentary film by award winning director Lorna Tucker; Someones Daughter, Someones Son. The film aims to highlight the worsening plight of homelessness in Britain today, and create a movement to help end it.
A group of people who are passionate about the project are organsing a fundraising event to help raise the required funds to release the film. The more funds that are raised, the wider the reach of the film. The event will take place at The Exchange in North Shields, on Saturday 23rd September 2023 and will consist primarily of music performances, as well as a charity auction and raffle.
Why North Shields? Earl John Charlton is a well known face in his home town of North Shields, and is one of the main people featured in the film. What better place to hold a fund raiser?
